CIPOLLON'

When Antonio Grieco was five years old, he fell in love with a beautiful Italian girl of the same age. After "dating" on the playground for a few weeks, this Italian girl broke Antonio's heart by breaking up with him near the swing set. Antonio was devastated.

Flash forward years later and Antonio is out with all his friends when he runs into this woman from his past. The girl exclaims, "I remember you, when we broke up you cried like a big onion!" Thus — thanks to all of his friends who would never let him forget this —Antonio was forever known as Cipollon', or big onion.

Antonio was a great friend to Villa Cappelli, stopping by often to enjoy a drink by the pool, help make products, and grill his own freshly caught fish. He always had a smile and a kind word. In other words, we were all better for knowing him.

Unfortunately, we lost Antonio a month ago in a horrible car crash. While nothing can bring him back, we'd like to honor his memory by renaming our Red Tropea Onion Conserve after him. So from now on it will be called Cipollon' in his memory.

For those that don't know this product, it is deliciously different conserve that pairs perfectly with sharp piece of cheese, takes sandwiches and burgers to a whole new level, is great with a nice piece of meat, and well, is a great "friend" to just about anything — just like Cipollon'.
